"Red Dead Online – the vibrant, ever-evolving world where you can take on a range of unique roles and pursuits to blaze your own outlaw trail across the American frontier – will be available to purchase as a standalone game from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store and Steam on December 1st." - Rockstar's

My thoughts

I haven't seen Rockstar do this before maybe they might do it for GTA 5.

Meanwhile GTA Online continues to be a cesspool of unfair advantages thanks to mommy's credit card. To be honest, I don't really care much for Rockstar anymore. Maybe if they make a hella good GTA 6...

I don't even care that GTA V online is pay to win. What ruins it for me is the interface and loading times.

Seems like a desperate move

Not really. Don't they make most of the cash from DLCs? RDR2 Online is pretty much a F2P game with bunch of premium content to buy.

RD:O is even more void of anything and filled with microtransactions than GTA:O is. They could give it away for free and it still wouldn't succeed.

Me waiting for rockstar to go back to singleplayer expansions after they release GTAV for the PS6 and Xbox X Series X X Edition

maybe this'll boost player count? maybe not. i've abandoned rockstar after gtav and only bought rdr2 a couple of months back due to a heavy discount + coupon and even then it feels like such a slog to get through, the "realism" is too much imo. also have no hope of a rdr pc release/remaster ever.

Looks like a prank. But I hope it's not bragging but truth and Rockstar decided to sweeten "COVID-19 mood" with cool promos :)

But why ? There are only about 3 people playing the game anyways.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.
