New Higher End PC Build Idea

Char170

Budget (including currency): ~3,200 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly Video Games (And VR); I want to get into streaming, video editing, and music production as well.

Other details: I'll be looking to use this build with a 1440p 240hz Monitor as well as a 4K monitor. And VR

This is what I have currently drafted up.

My main question is on RAM. I went with Corsair for the ability to sync all of my RGB pretty nicely but I am not sure if it will quite the best. I have been looking at RAM stats for Ryzen 3 but I'm not exactly sure on what the consensus has become.

Any recommendations are more than welcome for this build. Thanks!

You might need a 3090 to hit full 8k all the time. You’ve got the budget for one anyway. If you do go 3090 I’ve heard they like 1000w PSUs in some instances.  Seems crazy but there are people saying it.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Consider an iCUE case.

I'd suggest a better, longer warranty psu.

Consider a 2x32GB memory kit. Leaves room for a no replacement upgrade should it ever be needed.

iCUE can control aura sync motherboards.
