What hard drive should i buy?

wolfff

so i am planning on building a high end pc but i cant choose a hard drive because every hard drive has lots of negative reviews... "its too loud" "it stopped working in no time" etc etc

My budget is 0 - 140 euro i live in the netherlands and i want 7200 rpm (because i think thats what i need? i will be gaming and making music on it) and i would like 4 TB of space because i want alot of games to bestored on there

The 2 best choices I found are the Seagate EXOS Enterprise 4TB and the Western Digital Black 4TB. They both are 7200rpm and have 256mb of cache. There aren't really that many other choices. Also the WD Black is 10$ extra. Of course prices vary depending on region.

Yeah, I would have went for the Barracuda as well if they weren't running at 5400RPM.

I mentioned above there is the Seagate EXOS 4TB and the WD Black 4TB, both 7200rpm hard drives with 256mb of cache and both have at least 5 years warranty. If you can find these where you live at a reasonable price they're definitely a good choice.

No, they're enterprise grade hard drives, which should mean that they're pretty reliable.
