MX-4 paste just melt on gpu die

this is weird because i changed thermal paste last week and thermals were good( xfx rx 580) it was around 65-68c and now after one week it at 75c. it just disappeared  and there was only a lil bit left on sides . then i re applied and opened it again and it more than enough and temps are back at 60s.  anyone knows whats wrong with it ?  am i doing something wrong?

Is it very watery maybe? Is it old? Where did you get it from?

Yeah it gets watery. No its not old ordered from amazon

It's supposed to be a more solid consistency. Got a picture? You may have just gotten a bad tube or a poorly mixed one.

Thermal paste should be a homogenous mixture and not separate at all, unless the tube is really old, a screwup at the factory, or its not a real tube.

might be, i have only been using Mx2 and MX4 and my AiO hasnt had a thermal paste change since i bought it over 3 years ago and temps are still good. I assume he might have gotten a bad Lot or old Lot

No when putting its solid but after a while it gets watery on die

That's odd. Has the tube been stored in a car or anywhere where it is not climate controlled(garage/attic/tool shed)?
