when freesync enabled on monitor bios and bootup screen wont show

this only happens when freesync is enabled on monitor. when i have it enabled monitor will only turn on when pc is on desktop. samsung cr50 and rx 580.  anyone knows how to fix it ? this is not big deal just uncomfortable because i cant see bios. got the latest drivers from amd and samsung for monitor.

this is some firmware/hardware issue, and freesync have a ton of weird quirks, so it's not surprising to see such an issue occur

 

personally wouldnt bother fixing it, just set monitor to normal mode when you need to go into the bios

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
