can you use noctua low noise adapter with NZXT X61

YSL_know_plug

hey folks,

I just wanted to know if you can use the Noctua Low Noise adapter with the NZXT X61 stock fans? The fans are really good even at lowest rpm they perform really well and because of the rubber mounts they dont produce vibrations, but they are bit too loud for my taste at the lowest possible speeds so i wanted to know if its okay to use noctua low noise adapters with those fans? I dont mind getting 2-4°C more on the liquid temp.

thanks for the help!

I don't see why not. It's most likely just an in line resistor like most other low noise adapters. There's no special logic inside of that adapter.
