This graphic card claims to be an rtx 2070 super but the I/O doesn't add up

This card claims to be an rtx 2070 super but the I/O doesn't add up since it has no usb-c but the cooler and box shows an rtx 2070 super from gigabyte white oC so what card is this?

This looks like a Gigabyte OC 2060 Super. See pics. Be careful OP. Seems like a scam. Don't pay more than the 2060 Super costs. This is not a 2070 super.

Weird, the official Gigabyte website is the only one that shows the I/O with USB-C, all of the following retailers show the card with no type c (the same as your pic).

Newegg: https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2070-super-gv-n207sgamingoc-white-8gd/p/N82E16814932219

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-Graphics-WINDFORCE-GV-N207SGAMINGOC-WHITE-8GD/dp/B07Y2R5Y2G

B&H: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1543394-REG/gigabyte_gv_n207sgamingoc_white_8gd_geforce_rtx_2070_super.html

BestBuy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/gigabyte-nvidia-geforce-rtx-2070-super-gaming-oc-3x-8gb-gddr6-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card-white/6409167.p?skuId=6409167

I'm not too familiar with these newer generations, are there maybe multiple versions of the card?

yes it is probably a 2060 super gaming oc white sold as a 2070 super, what a scam,

That's what I thought too at first, but the coolers are slightly different. Look at the very left of the card, the 2070 Super is slimmer than the 2060 Super.

2070 Super:

2060 Super:

If the coolers are cross compatible it's still possible a 2070 Super cooler was swapped onto a 2060 Super, but I don't know if they are compatible.

I thought that too. Odd,  might be a totally different card too, just don't buy it

Did a bit more research and it looks like I was correct, there are 2 versions of the Gigabyte RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC, with and without the type c port.

With Type-C: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SGAMINGOC-WHITE-8GC#kf

No Type-C: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SGAMINGOC-WHITE-8GD-rev-10-11#kf

The card could be legit, could not be. Without you posting the listing it's hard to tell you one way or the other.

i own a gigabyte 2070 super windforce OC, and it has a USB type C

but another guy who owned also a windforce 2070S didnt not have type C

upon some digging, there's apparently 2 models, maybe that's the case here?

Gigabye Windforce OC 8G

Gigabye Windforce OC 3X 8G

My PCs: Desky | Beddie | Miney | Benchie

Things I need help with: (nothing at the moment)

Spoiler

none atm

I hate Intel's pricing, Ryzen's weird quirks, Nvidia's pricing, and Radeon GPUs in general

Spoiler

Products I like:

Spoiler

Sony Xperia Z1 / Z2 / 10 ii, Asus Strix 970 / 1070, Samsung SSD, WD HDD, Corsair PSUs (AX, RM, CX(grey)), GeForce GPU, NZXT N450/S340, be quiet! Coolers, G.Skill Trident RAM, Logitech M525, Logitech G440, Razer Deathadder Elite

Products I hate:

Spoiler

Xperia Z3, XiaoMi 5c, Radeon GPUs, Razer Audio Products, any bloatwares

Companies I absolutely adore: (and hope it stays that way)

Spoiler

be quiet! - sent me AM4 mounting for my DRP3 even though it's way past the timeframe stated, no questions asked

Corsair - very good RMA experience, absolutely recommend

Companies I hate:

Spoiler

Nvidia, Intel, Apple, TMT (Thundermatch, a retailer)

Personal Blacklisted Companies:

Spoiler

Acer: shit tier quality products, shit tier customer service thus far, they "tried" to solve my issue but they arent really doing anything but delaying and delaying. (on-going case since July)

Gigabyte: horrible customer service (gigabyte had literally 0 customer service, asked me to go to retailer with NO WAY to email them about a question) but at least they fixed my shit in ONE MONTH (would probably take me 1 hour to fix if they let me email them)

XiaoMi Phones: built like a tank but the software is buggy as all hell

Seagate HDD: had too many dead seagate drives

Kingston SSD: 300V controller swap thingy

Razer (except their mouse)

Remember, just because I had good/bad experiences with these companies/product, doesn't mean you will have similar experiences too. I would still recommend these products if they made sense for your needs, but I'll add a disclaimer of my experience if it's relevant. Feel free to DM me asking why they are where they are.

Yeah ok suffice to say my google image searches were clearly not complex enough - it does appear that there are 2 versions of this card, and looking at the pictures posted above, this could actually be a 2070s - its up to you OP, but unless the saving is significant, I'd just wait it out - maybe wait for a 3060 or something?
