Vs

NEW ALIENWARE M17 (£1,665)

-------------------------------------------------

What I need it for:

Light gaming like warcraft 3 reforged

Office work

Watch Netflix on

Light editing for YouTube

Possibly to go with my Oculus Quest

I would probably upgrade SSD either way.

Thanks

I personally would go the Asus route, for three reasons:
1. It has a larger SSD to boot, which means (unless you are simply adding another) it would be worth more for selling (unless you plan to keep it).

2. It has two screens, which is very handy.

3. It's Asus, not Alienware.

What you lose:
You get 9th gen Intel instead of 10th gen Intel

What you get:

Two screens

Thanks, think I am leaning that way. Think the extra screen would be pretty useful.

I use my two screens all the time on my tower.

Only having one on my district-issued Chromebook is maddening, which is why I'm turning an old laptop screen into a secondary monitor for it :)

Sounds good, I find it pretty impossible to work with one screen. Alternatively the Mobile Pixels Duex Pro seems like a good alternative for adding to any laptop.
Or the ASUS MB168B 15.6 Inch Portable if you work at a table or desk. Though I think either one wouldn’t be as convenient as the zenbooks built in screen.
Shame the zephyrus duo is out of my price range.

Thanks
