My PRIME X570-PRO Motherboard requires an 8+4 Pin CPU Connector, Can i use an 8 Pin by itself or do i need to use a 4+4 aswell for it?

Any Help would be greatly appreciated, i tried to find just a standalone 4 pin power connector and doesnt seem to exist.

The 4 pin EPS connector is not needed in most scenarios.

It would really only be needed for LN2 overclocking or when running a bunch of powerhungry videocards on the motherboard (the latter being a scenario motherboard manufacturers have described in the past).

If you still want to plug it in, some PSU's come with multiple EPS cables, one of which can usually be split apart from an 8 pin connector to two 4 pin connectors.

Check the manual if it is ok, but presuming it is the 8 pin connector is fine for most use cases outside extreme overclocking.

Generally speaking the 2nd CPU power cable is only present on higher power PSUs.

The EPS connector(s) to my understanding is only used to power the CPU, after going through the VRM. Some mobos may have an extra connector for PCIe slot power but generally this is separate from the CPU power. In the past this was often a molex. Don't recall seeing it on more recent boards, but I haven't been looking either.

Presuming you meant PSU not video card there.
