3700x vs 5600x for Video Editing

Hi All,

 

I was wondering if I should go for the 3700x (400 CAD) or 5600x (420 CAD) for mainly video editing, InDesign work, and a lot of Illustrator work. Will the 2 extra cores being more beneficial than the upgrade to Zen3 for 5600x?

The 3700x has very similar performance too the the 5600x, so i'd go with the 3700x. The 2 extra cores + it being on sale for 280 rn just make it a better buy for productivity.
