Audio pops and clicks while internet is being used

Stefan Laza

I just changed my old intel core i7 4790 and my msi h81-m e33 mobo with a ryzen 5 2600x and a b450 aorus elite mobo.
After a few days since I assembled my pc and reinstalled windows on it, the output sound started clicking and poping.
I ran some tests in LatencyMon and it says it's because of the internet connection. I tried unplugging the internet cable from the motherboard and, when it's unplugged, the popping and clickings go away and LatencyMon doesn't show any error. But when I plug back the patch cord, the sound starts clicking and popping again. What should I do? I tried updating all a u dio drivers. And I checked for updates too, and I am up to date with everything. And I tried to reboot. And I disabled CPU throttling too.

The first image is with the Patch Cord plugged in, the second one is with it unplugged.

Sounds like your network driver is screwed, unfortunately if you have tried reinstalling it and it didn't work this may be one of those 'reinstall windows' problems

I don't know what happenned but when i turned it on this morning, I ran a test and the latency dissappeared. I am running a test right now too, to be sure, but I think it fixed by itself
