gaming Gaming Tablet Suggestions? With windows?

*Wasn't sure whether to put this in mobile gaming or phones and tablets category so sorry if this is the wrong one*    I currently has a desktop which I use for gaming and some productivity stuff. I also have an Iphone X, its fine, except for the fact that the app store doesn't have a lot of good games. I get if they can't have pc games but they won't even allow things like stadia or game pass ultimate. In addition the screen is a bit small for gaming and it has almost no controller or keyboard and definitely not mouse support. I understand gaming isn't the main use for this device, which is why I want to find a gaming tablet. I thought about a laptop but I think I'd rather have a tablet. Now comes the tricky part, I want one for under $200 and I would like for it to have windows. So far I found the fusion5 which looked decent, but I would prefer a better screen and faster speeds. Do you guys have any recommendations? Really the main things I want is for it to have windows and to be good for gaming. Thanks for the help!

Just to be clear: are you intending to run the game on the tablet itself? Or stream it?

 

If you want to run natively, you'd need to spend a lot more than $200 to get something decent. The budget Windows tablets are almost all Cherry Trail Intel Atoms with next-to-zero performance (even with four cores).

 

For streaming, look at Android tablets, I guess. I have a Samsung Tab A 8" that would be fairly decent, I guess.

What about running games on an Android? does it have good games?

Games like dirt or apex, or rocket league. Can you play those kind of pc games on a tablet?

WHat about on a windows tablet? Would it not be fast enough.

As mentioned most windows tablets (well those you can have for $200) will be very low powered things that are pretty much only good for web browsing. 

If you move to something like a Surface it'll be fine for light games, but that's a whole other price league.

Get a Nintendo Switch. That is probably your cheapest option that will give you the best experience on a tablet form factor. Any Windows tablets are not in your price point at all.

 

Or get some cheap Android tablit and use gaming streaming to stream from your existing computer to the tablet over WiFi. Playing out side the house is possible but gets complicated depending on your internet connection.

Why would it not be? A PC is a PC regardless of whether it has a keyboard or not, as long as it's powerful enough to run your game it'll run your game.

 

I wouldn't see the point of using a tablet for gaming though, much more choice in laptop form. Or 2 in 1. 

 

Then there are things like the GPD Win 2 that do make sense thanks to the handheld format, but again the price is nowhere near what you want.

Yeah, basically...

 

If you want to be a little lenient with the definition of "tablet", my Lenovo Flex 5 (AMD) can play the original Assassin's Creed maxed out at >70FPS, and Kerbal Space Program at middle settings at ~40FPS. It should be able to handle some lighter games, but nothing AAA.

You're going to have to specify a better budget, because again at $200 you're not going to get anything that plays those games, unless maybe if you get a good deal on something on the used market.
