I have a I5 3470S. Do i need a after market cooler to get turbo boost?My CPU has turbo boost upto 3.6 Ghz.

no not really, all "turbo boost" means is that it will try and hit 3.6ghz whenever it isn't limited by power or temperature. even with a stock intel cooler 3.6ghz should be easily sustainable

How can i check that my CPU boost to 3.6 Ghz??
