Questions regarding my new build

Budget (including currency):  40,000php or around 800$

Country: Philippines

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details this will be a new fresh pc but the motherboard and processor are already existing. my monitors are only 1080p 75hz. so this will mainly be a 1080p gaming pc

 

Specs:

 

i5-8400

gigabyte H310m H

some thermaltake cpu cooler idk

kingston ddr4-2666 16gb x2

WD Blue 500GB SSD

Seagate Barracuda 4TB HDD

Gigabyte RX 590

Coolermaster MWE White 550W

2 1080p 75hz monitors

some case. i forgot the name

some rgb fans. idk the brand. hahahha

 

i want to ask if you guys have any recommendations for this build? is it okay? i feel like i balanved out the specs well. i think i got a fair price for it. but idk

im just going be using it for gaming. and i will not be using it for rendering or other multicore heavy tasks.

In the USA that would be a bad price, but I assume that prices in the Philippines are absolutely horrible, so that's probably the best you can get. (and I assume these are used parts)

It's a very balanced build and will serve you well for many years.

 

Out of curiosity, how much does a Ryzen 3100 cost in the Philippines?

yes. usa would definately get better prices.

in this build. everything is brand new except the processor, motherboard, and graphics card.

here is a pricelist in one of the biggest computer shops here int he Philippines. to convert to USD. just divide the price by 50.

yes prices here are on the high side :(

Hmm... Prices for the Ryzen CPU seem actually okay. (similar to the USA)

Ryzen 3200G only costs 113USD, and is probably better than the 8400.

 

Anyway, the build is good and it will be good for a while. :)

yes. i was thinking of a ryzen 3200g. but it was only 4 cores. while the i5-8400 is 6 cores.

Ah yes I forgot the 8400 is 6-core. In that case it is probably better than 3200G. (I was thinking it was 4-core for some reason)
