Webcam Issues on old MacBook running Ubuntu

I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. However, I have recently started having issues with the webcam. On turning on, it shows "No camera detected" or ZCamra failed in Google Meet. I restart it once, twice, thrice, and one of those times, it works but causes significant delay and water of time.
I even tried installing Facetime-HD drivers from GitHub, and after that, the problem's still there! Any solutions would be appreciated.
