so in the end i just needed to install motherboard drivers

hey i just built a new pc and i noticed my memory is running a bit slow and wondered how i can make it faster?

 

 

My Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 (Temporary until the 6900 xt launches)
PSU: Gigabyte Aurous 850 Gold
Motherboard: Asus x570 Plus

Make sure you're saving settings when exiting BIOS.

Can you go to the AI Tweaker and see exactly what the speed is set to?

i didnt take a picture of it but its set to 3200 mhz

though its shown nearly everywhere else as 2133 mhz

Keep in mind that the speed will only update after a reboot. So changing it in BIOS without rebooting will not increase RAM speed.
