60 FPS 4K youtube on an LG TV(OLED77CXPVA)

Sargon

We got the 77 inch OLED77CXPVA LG TV.

I know this TV can reach 120 FPS.

I know youtube has 60 FPS 4K movies, but it seems like the TV youtube app doesn't play any video in 60 FPS.

Usually when you play a youtube video at 60 FPS the quality says it's 60 FPS. In this case, we never saw 60 in the quality resolution.

I tried to look at the manual of the TV, but didn't find any setthings.

Do you know if there is any settings in the TV itself or the youtube app to enable 60 FPS movies in youtube?

For a YouTube video to support 60 FPS, it has to say something like 720p60, 1080p60, 1440p60, 2160p60, etc. If the YouTube video doesn't have it listed, it won't run at 60 FPS.

I just checked out one of my 4k60 videos and through Windows it does say 4k60 but if I go through the smart app on my B9 it only says 4k.

Yea, I know that in windows it says p60, and I saw that it doesn't say that in the TV app.

That's why I asked.

Use Stats for Nerds to verify the frame rate. It doesn't show the frame rate on the quality menu like on PC.

The YouTube app on this TV definitely supports 60fps. You can also play 120fps videos from a USB drive.
