Should I go for the ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 2TB?

nickbg321

I'm looking for a 2TB NVMe drive for my new build and I got a really good Black Friday deal on the ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO 2TB. I've read reviews saying it's slower than the 1TB version due to having 512Gb dies, instead of 256. Is the difference in performance worth loosing sleep over or should I go for it?

I've also considered the 970 EVO Plus, but it's quite a bit more expensive and it's currently out of stock in most places in my country.

I don't recall ever reading that in a review on the SX8200 Pro.

Either way, I've been using one for a few months now and it's solid. It's a great choice as far as OS drives go (or I guess you could use for anything really, but if it's say just for games, you could go with something cheaper).
