Asus geforce rtx 3070 dual oc RGB software?

Atube

Hello! I just bought an Asus geforce RTX 3070 dual oc and on the side it had an rgb strip, any way I could change the colour of that? Thank you. If you could link me to a software that would be great.

Did you check the asus support page for your card? Ususally has drivers, RGB software and other 'utility' bloatware

There's always the unplug option but that should be a last resort.

I heard that you can not change the color of that srip. But try Asus' own software: Aura Sync. You need to install Rog armoury, it has Aura sync intergrated

I was wondering the same...
The RGB in this card seems to be static and it might be just fixed-color leds soldered to linear power on the board.

If it actually is an RGB strip or RGB leds, then WHY THE HELL did Asus did this???
I can't find any info anywhere and I'm not interested into fiddling with my card for now.
Anybody knows if we can just remove (pop out) the silver plastic on top of the lights?

I'm not exactly sure how static LEDs work but I have the same card so if it helps i've noticed that when I turn off the PC the lights briefly go red and then dim and turn off; so could that mean they can change colour?

I had a similar issue with a PNY 1660 Super, there's no apparent way to turn the damn light off. Believe it or not, someone on Reddit (can't remember where, sorry) suggested installing the EVGA Precision X1 software, and lo and behold.. it works. 😶

Try using the same! you can find it here

I can confirm the same, and it does is RGB (it also sometimes [very rarelly] flashes green very quickly when I restart my mining software and restart my graphics driver [ctrl+shift+win+B]), they just didn't bothered to let us control it... WHAT IN THE FRICKING ASUS!!! Come on, let us use the damn RGB!
