Severe FPS problems on 5600x Latest chipset (another 5600x thread)

I asked recently about some 5600x issues I've been having regarding Faux FPS drops. Those went away with the latest chipset. However there is a new problem.

Having download the latest chipset drivers from AMD (the ones from my B550 ROG were also tried), I have been getting very bad FPS drops in my main game APEX. Noticed that my usual capped 143 FPS on all low was dipping well below that and in some areas have been getting 100-120. The difference is even larger in an actual game. I have also noticed stutters and noticed WAY more input latency, that went there when I freshly installed windows with the 2017 chipset.

Things tried.

1. 2 latest BIOS

2. DDU Nvidia drivers

3.Re-inalled game

4. Cleaned all processes, the only thing running is the game

5.Reseated RAM and tried two different sets of RAM both different brands. Also tried non-xmp slots 1-3

Whats going on?

After a motherboard reset and fresh windows re-install to original windows 2017 chipset drivers I can confirm that my FPS is back to normal and there seems to be some major problem with the latest AMD drivers and FPS.

hope this finds someone to test

So business as usual?

But, um, is there any reason to even keep hunting for new drivers if it works fine *now*?

(glad you fixed it btw, that was a bold move lol)
