Power banks damaging Phone battery.

Hey guys,

I recently heard of some rumors i had never heard before which is: That using a power bank can damage and kill your Smartphone's battery. Does anyone know if that's true or not, specially if you are using a good quality power bank that has rated voltage and amperage for your smartphone ??

This is true for older phones, phones nowadays have a build in charge regulator that can protect from this issue.
