Good free VPN or any fix to use work network to remotes into home PC

Kanna

So I'm on a work type network and connections to the outside doesn't really work, heard it is possible to bypass with VPN so is there any good free VPNs or is it possible to bypass it in another way?

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

Nope. I used to use logmein's hamachi way back in the day for basic file sharing and for game servers but it since then became an unreliable mess. Any other "free" VPN will isolate users from each other and considering they are doing shady data mining at best I wouldnt trust any of them.

Is there any that offer free trails without CC

I use ProtonVPN for free, it's pretty fast and one of the few with no data caps. I can't vouch for the security of any free VPNs though.

I would not use a free VPN because some let other users use your connection. Just imagine what might happen when one sicko watches videos of children with your connection.

Yeah proton didn't work and I'm not trying another since it didn't work probably due to the wifi setup

Are you talking about connecting to a VPN server? Well of course it won't work. Your place of work has put in some type of policy that blocks any VPN connections. Is there a reason to why you need a VPN connection?

Why not get a raspberry Pi and install OpenVPN on it then access your server from your phone? That's what I do, although I use Cisco (more complicated and requires Licensed hardware)

Wifi? do you mean your internet connection at home? Well you're going to need to port forward the RPi in order to access it.

No I mean the work wifi it didn’t connect to the VPN servers only on phone plan so I bet there is some prevention for it that I just can’t bypass for now it seems
