Ryzen 2700x vs 3700x vs 5600x

Im buying a new CPU. I want to use it for a competitive game that is CPU dependent. I dont know which to buy as they have ups and downs:

Ryzen 7 2700x - 8 cores 16 threads, 3.7gHz base 4.3 gHz boost, Unlocked.                        £176

Ryzen 7 3700x - 8 cores 16 threads, 3.6 base 4.4 boost, Unlocked                                       £279

Ryzen 5 5600x - 6 cores 12 threads, 3.7 base 4.6 boost, Unlocked                                       £299 (MSRP)

Which should I choose?

My budget is variable but the 2700x is well within, allowing me to buy a new mobo and case too.

I want to play Fortnite Competetively (dont judge :( ) and I will be playing at 1080p all low settings looking to get 240 fps in most situations - my GPU is a 1650 and Im using single channel 8gb ram but upgrading to dual channel 16gb simultaneously to the CPU upgrade
