Upcoming Pokemon game

Pokemon Unite is a MOBA strategy game in which we control the creatures known from the game series and anime Pokemon. The game offers 5 vs 5 multiplayer mode and introduces some changes to the familiar formula.The game was developed by The Pokemon Company and TiMi Studios. The publisher is Tencent.

 

Now the machanics

The action of the game takes place on a typical map with bases belonging to both sides at two ends. I observe the world of the game from an isometric perspective, and the main goal of the game is to defeat the opposite team. Cooperation between team members plays a key role.

 

This game introduces two novelties to the well-known formula - firstly, the fun begins with catching the pokemon s present on the map, which we then use in the fight against our rivals. Secondly, we achieve victory not by destroying the enemy's base, but by gaining more points from them (we get them for defeating pokemon s).

Traditionally for Pokemon series (and MOBA games), as the game progresses our creatures develop and gain new skills.

 

And now the game mode 

We can only play Pokemon Unite with others. The core of the game is an online multiplayer mode designed for ten players (5 vs 5). It is worth noting that the game supports cross-platform gameplay - users of different gaming systems can play together.
