1440p 144z or 1080p 165hz

B.B.Woolfe

i play fps games relatively competitively and I'm looking to upgrade my monitor. There are two monitors I'm interested in. Both 27", one is a 1440p 144hz and the other is 1080p 165hz. they are basically the same price so that's not a issue, i was wondering if anyone at advice to help me make my decision. FYI im using a a 24" 60hz tv right now.

I think the difference between 1440p and 1080p is going to be far more noticable than the difference between 144Hz and 165Hz, so I would go for the 1440p one. A GTX1060 should be able to run CSGO/Valorant/League of Legends at 144fps.
