Zotac's limited edition too hard to find? Yeston's too slow? Get this instead - Maxsun to release anime themed 3070/3080

Those who watch LTT might remember Maxsun as the manufacturer who sold OEM 1060 5GB graphic cards on Aliexpress. As both Zotac and Yeston has released Anime-Esque graphic cards the past year, Maxsun has also pitched in.
Photos of Maxsun's special editon 3070/3080 has appeared on National Geographic Anime forums. Both are based off their i-Craft OC GM line of graphic cards. The 3080 will be sold for 6499RMB (983USD) and the 3070 is estimated to be 4899RMB (741USD). Both cards have a slight boost in clock: 1.77Ghz for 3070 and 1.74Ghz for 3080.

While regular OC models will be available in a week, it's not confirmed when these models will come out.

Thoughts: It looks great, but Maxsun was known to have poorer thermal management in contrast to other competitors. I wonder what improvements they have made?

The cards on their site look exactly like the ones you'd get when you're buying knockoff $99 1080's.

I wouldn't touch this. You might as well spend an extra $100 over the already inflated price and get someone to paint something on your card for you.

I'm sure Andy will be able to tell the difference between a knockoff Maxsun and a legit Maxsun if Linus feel like doing a review.

I could actually see this looking ok in a completely white build. But then again I would prefer a completely white build and a complete signal red or blue GPU as an accent.

I'm very much for fun anime GPU's, but I agree they look cheap 

 

And the characters themselves also as they're ripping off Hatsune Miku hard, without coming even close to the real thing. 

 

I mean, if you really can afford this, msi etc are making those too, and they won't look cheap (and won't come cheap lol)
