Thermal Throtting/Low FPS/FPS drops

Yo.I recently started getting extreme FPS drops,I found out it was because of thermal throttling so I undervolted my laptop, but it didn't help whatsoever.I've been struggling with this issue for a month now and it makes gaming so bad.I would appreciate any type of help.

My specs are:

GPU:NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 GDDRS 6gb(192 bit)

CPU:Intel core I7 8750H 2.20 ghz

OS:Windows 10

RAM:16 gb

Did you removed the dust from the inside? Loptops can get quite dusty which decreases thermal capacity.

(I just guess your laptop has an active air cooling) Does the fan still work?

How are the temps now? May be in need of a thermal paste replacement.

Well I mean… if the laptop is quite old… that could mean that the thermalpaste dried out.
