iPhone X, 2017 and still going strong! Will probably look at getting a new battery soon though, it’s at 81% health atm.

Samsung Galaxy S8, 2017. The processor is still plenty fast for anything I would want to throw at it, and I can still get through a whole day without charging and have 60-70% battery left. The camera leaves something to be desired though.

I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy A71 a few months ago, before that I had a Huawei P9 Lite for a few years.

iPhone X 2017. Doubt I will upgrade anytime soon.

My mom on the other hand uses an iPhone 6 and that is on the brink of dying. Waiting on the ltt review before pulling the plug for a 12 for her.

LTT 12 review came out which looked pretty positive to me.  It Didn’t go into the camera repair problem though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Huawei P30 Pro, really damn happy with it.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

My take away was “might have been a winner” except for the repair issue, which I suppose might not matter so much for some users.  What I have found is making a part dealer only serviceable generally dramatically increases repair cost of that part, so a lot may depend on how often it needs to be repaired.

oneplus 6t, although planning on upgrading to an 8 pro soon even though it will be total overkill for the web browsing/social media i use my phone for

That sounds kind of in line.  A LiPo battery generally has a life of 8months to a year and a half depending on use, and the 6 series came with a9 or a10 CPUs.

Probably. The 6s was never known for stellar battery life to begin with. But man, 8% from just sitting idle at night. That's gonna hurt. And I've noticed sometimes it could drop like 2% at once while in use. Quick browse on Instagram? That could be an easy 3% gone.
