What happened to the 1660 supers?

Did the 1660 supers just get sold out or is it a glitch because all the 1660 supers on newegg went poof

All the "shipped by newegg" 1660 supers are out of stock, it seems.. there are still options if you turn that off.

I was on the Nvidia shop yesterday and only saw 1650's when I browsed during my computer science lecture because I'm paying 9k just for that.

The GPU market as a whole is acting weird as fuck right now. IMO almost everything decent is over priced or completely out of stock.

 

My theory is its probably combination of Nvidia tripped up everyone who planned an upgrade by having no stock of the new cards, massive scalping going on pretty much everywhere and a lot of people are upgrading or building gaming rigs right now due to COVID.

 

You have half the planet locked in with nothing to do and no where to go spend their money so this actually isn't too shocking.

I kinda doubt they're even being produced anymore so where would the stock come from then? 

 

Also, nah, no one wants old 6 GB cards anymore... would be a very bad choice going forward.

well have fun waiting for a gpu thats not being produced anymore to get "in stock again" all just to "finally" play at med/low settings, all while calling others "stupid" lmao.
