Asrock Z490 Taichi IO sheild LED already broken.

Woke up today to the entire panel of LED on the IO shield not working. I've owned this MOBO since all of July 25th. I don't expect LED to last ages but that brief of a time is completely ridiculous. And the whole panel going instead of just 1 or 2 LED burning out here or there is inexcusable. Came across some skuttlebutt from others who have dealt with this claiming Asrock is simply placing LED too close to heat sources. If true this is really embarrassing for Asrock. It's LED, not rocket science. MOBO companies have been adding LED to MOBO for "ages" now. It's hardly a big problem but it's still definitely annoying. lol I can't stop glancing over at it.

Woke up today and low and behold they've magically healed themselves. Before I wrote my post I had restarted. Fully shut down and restarted. Tried changing color modes. lol Did the old school bang on the TV fix by flicking the IO. Nothing I did would make them light. Does anyone know how MOBO LED are usually wired? That seems like a loose wire or a short.
