Would this desk bend over time?

I'm planning on getting a new desk for my room in a new apartment. I'm on a tight budget so I'm thinking on getting this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ameriwood-Home-Dominic-L-Desk-with-Bookshelves-Black-Oak/24216644

It's made out of all particle board, from my understanding. And I've heard they are usually 1/2in thick. My main appeal is that it's at $100, it has shelves, and it has a closed back with enough overhang in the back from the tabletop to clamp monitors to. Which I'm planning to do with a single dual monitor arm on the left side. My main concern is it's ability to hold it up over time and the fact that the middle section is held together by a screw plate with part of perimeter held up by the board legs. I just figure that from the videos I've seen and the pictures that the over hang and the closed off board pieces under it on the left side would provide enough support if I clamped them all the way to the left to prevent potential sag.

Would this work? / Does anyone have experience with a particle board structure similar to this?

It would bend if its exposed to water and heavy weight, if the weight is at the back where there's support to the floor then its ok and not ok if the weight is at the front where there is no support.

If you're worried about it sagging in the middle get some L brackets and screw in under the desk near the corner to add additional support.

You're not going to find something better for that price.

Worried? Buy a 2x4, cut to the right size, and brace the top.

I'm sure they all would but that one doesn't look like I'd even put a tower on it.

If you're going for cheap, work with Ikea tabletops and cobble together a desk. Thickness is going to be much greater than the flimsy stuff from Walmart. The desk pictured also didn't look deep enough to be a proper workstation.

Like other comments said, buy L brackets. And in the worst case scenario, you can put 10$ on side each month, and save it until this one breaks and just buy something better
