Is my monitor 4K?

Hi all.

Today I was watching YouTube and noticed my quality was on auto, so I opened up the quality options and at the top it said 4K (2160P) but I always thought my monitors maximum quality was 1440P. So is my monitor 4K or is it some weird YouTube thing. My monitor is an Acer Predator X34. If you could answer my question that would be appreciated.

that options on YouTube don't depend on your monitor resolution, so it just showing all the possible alternatives for that video.

That only shows what quality your device is streaming. On my iPad, I get a bad but clear image. When I request Desktop Site on Chrome I can get 1080p with no stuttering.

As Someone with the username “</TheCoder2019_”, my coding skills are atrocious.

As Someone at the age of 13, built a not terrible but a “gameable” system for $500 USD

As Someone with atrocious coding skills, knows more Unix/Bash more than CMD

Here are my specs:

Intel Core i5 of some sort

GTX 1050 Ti 4GB

16GB (2x8) Cosair Vengeance LPX CL16 - 2400MHz

A Rosewill case I found on eBay (SRM-01B Black)

An old friend of mine - Intel stock cooler (temps through the roof like 90 C under load)

^ Also you should have been able to just open up display setting by either your Graphics control panel or Windows Settings.
