6800 XT s basically a 3080, looks pretty good!

 

6800 is too expensive though, for 18% or less more perf than 3070, for $80 more.

 

6900 XT looks good, basically a 3090, but with less VRAM.

Random thoughts:

So they did the catch up in gaming performance. Nice.

8 and 9 parts are roughly comparable with green team, but AMD claiming lower power. VRAM quantity I'm sure people will continue to argue over.

Be interesting to see what nvidia's response will be to this, given how early we are in Ampere's timeline.
