PC only boot 50% of the time!

Ruisun

My PC:

Mobo: Asus Z97-A

CPU: i7 4790K

GPU: EVGA GTX 1660 SUPER

RAM: 32 GIG ( 4 x 8 ) Kingston HyperX DDR3

PSU: Seasonic 750W

OS: Ubuntu

The machine would turn on 50% of the time, with the other 50% being random problems:

1. VGA_LED

2.BOOT_DEVICE_LED

3.Invalid Partition Table

4.Black screen

5.Stuck on ASUS Logo

6.Hangs after typing login info to log into OS ( Ubuntu )

BUT when it works, it is working super smooth and FAST!

I've cleared CMOS by taking out the battery for half an hour and holding the power button with PSU unplugged.

Double checked all connections on MOBO.

Unplugged and plugged back in SATA cables.

What else could be going on?!

Thanks!

Kinda sounds like a memory problem, maybe a little dust in the memory slots.

Because it loses data, that's probs why you get different errors.
