What's a good PSU for my pc?

noodlespinbot

I need a new psu for my pc: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gaming-Optiplex-i5-8gb-RAM-GTX760-2gb-240gb-SSD/324309718637 and was wondering what a good one was. I have seen the tier list but don't know enough about PSUs to pick one. I have this: https://www.cclonline.com/product/298320/600W-BUILDER/Power-Supplies/Generic-Bulider-600W-ATX-Power-Supply-Unit/PSU1738/ in it currently so I'm not turning it on until i replace it because i'm scared it will break.

For a real budget PSU that's still decent, the be quiet! System Power 9 500w

For a better budget PSU, the Kolink Enclave 600w is good

There's also the Corsair TXM 550w

The CXM costs about as much as the TXM in the UK, looking at the major retailers. Might as well get a better PSU for the price.

I just found out the gtx 760 needs 550 watts so will the budget one be good enough?

It doesn't need 550w. It could be run on a 400w PSU from what I recall. Especially since you only have a i5-2400. Though, you could just pay the extra $10 for the Kolink Enclave if you are unsure.
