I don't see why not I wouldn't expect it to be hitting over 100fps at anything over low/med settings but if you're just playing Minecraft/casual E-sports at low/med settings it probs will be an OK experience. Would you mind listing what types of games you want to play?

You would be Lucky, some low end games should run but any newer probs won't

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

All depends on how CPU-intensive the particular game is.

You can run most of them, though a few newer games require the AVX instruction set which your CPU doesn't have and I don't expect you'd be anywhere near 60FPS for the Triple A games due to CPU bottlenecks, if you are thinking about buying this configuration I suggest you don't, otherwise you might manage with what you already have.

Depends on the game, but most of them will run fine.

Don't let random strangers on the internet decide what you can and can not do.

In all seriousness, you'll be able to run most games, okay-ish. Some newer games require AVX, which your CPU does not have.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, Nvidia GTX 780, 16 GB 2667 MT/s DDR4 Fedora 33 x86_64

Secondary: Intel Xeon X5670, Nvidia GTX 660, 24 GB 1333 MT/s DDR3 Windows 10 Home x86_64

Server: Intel Xeon X5670, 60 GB 1333 MT/s DDR3-R Ubuntu Server 20.04.1 LTS x86_64

Laptop: Intel Core i5-3320M, 16 GB 1600 MT/s DDR3 Fedora 32 x86_64

Intel released a software that emulates AVX and SSE 4.2 for old processors, here is an example:

That's interesting I have never heard of AVX emulation, though it runs very slow which isn't practical as a solution
