Tips on wet phone?

So I made the classic mistake and dunked my phone (iPhone X). I noticed water in the front notch and camera bump. It's in rice for the moment and has been since Saturday, so around 48 hours total. There is still water in the phone that's visible. I ordered a more powerful desiccant which is arriving Wednesday. I think the rice has done all it can. Should I try changing the rice out, or maybe letting the phone air dry till the desiccant arrives? My hopes aren't high but I'm gonna give it my best shot.

When I dunked my old S6+ Rice took care of it for me personally.

It's been in rice for a while now and although it's drier I can still see condensation in the camera bump.

Try shaking it around and see if you can break it loose
