Palit 1080ti Tehrmal Pads

Hi Everyone.


Does anyone know where im able to Get Thermal Pds for a Palit 1080ti in SA?

Iv had my card for a while and would like to do some deep Cleaning and would like to replace the Thermal Pads if they damage when removing the cooler.

I had an old Radeon card that when i removed the Cooler the Pads tore off.

You'd have to take it apart to see how thick the pads are. Then you can order them off amazon and cut them out how you need them.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

any 0.5mm will do, since the thermal pads are usually 0.25,0.5 and 0.75mm thick. but do not worry since you can use 0.5mm on 0.25mm and 0.75mm spots.

 

0.25mm pad-> can use 0.5mm but not any thicker

0.5mm pad-> can use 0.25mm,0.5mm and 0.75mm pad but not thicker

0.75mm pad-> can use 0.5mm,0.75mm and 1mm pads

Tier lists for building a PC.

 

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

(RTX 3000/ RX 6000 Might run just fine with higher wattage tier B unit, Rtx 3070 runs fine with tier B units)
