Broke turbo boost?

My 7700hq no longer boosts, it used to run fine earlier, abeit a bit hot (85 ish). I didn't do anything, but all of a sudden it won't go past 2.8 GHz even at 100% usage, temps are in the 70s

Any ideas what I might have done to break it?

Using an Alienware 13R3 laptop

Didn't work, it's a problem with the new BIOS, had to roll back.

In case anyone sees this thread because of a similar issue, Any BIOS update for the Alienware 13R3 will break any sort of voltage tinkering and won't let you use XTU or ThrottleStop, it also increases the default CPU voltage, causing the CPU to thermal throttle.

Use this guide - http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/force-downgrade-alienware-area-51m-bios-or-any-alienware-to-locked-lower-versions.829542/

Flash back to BIOS version 1.8.0, you'll get your undervolt back. I did.
