Looking for a budget case, any suggestions?

Lotinsh

So i have a cheap genesis case, which has shit airflow, have to keep the side panel open or my fans sound like a jet engine, any suggestions for under 60$?

I am looking for smaller ATX/mATX case, that has decent airflow with glass side panel.

I would be thankful for any suggestions!

Side question, is SilentiumPC Signum SG1X TG RGB ATX Mid-Tower any good? As I like the design looks, also it has rgb fans included...

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

This doesn't make sense at all. What does motherboard size have to even do with a bad bios?

Thanks for the case recommendations kind people, I will look into them. Idk what means microATX system blows and has bad BIOS... Mine seems to be fine, also incase if that helps to point me to some cases, I have a small table and would like my pc on the table, as my pc is 44cm tall 40cm long, and a bit too large to fit. Anyways, thanks.

With a MicroATX Mobo or case as well your limited in video card size in the future.  Also your limited with air flow. Also the motherboard will not have good BIOS to overclock your CPU properly.🤷‍♀️🎗✝👶

The fractal design focus g is a pretty good case. I believe it also comes in a mini version that might be good for your use case.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

for some, but most are wide enough for the same choices as ATX.

Potentially but not likely to be a big enough issue to need a bigger case if op wants a small case.

Almost anything with a mesh front and many others will be perfectly adequate.

As far as I’m aware m-atx motherboards do not have separate bios that makes it worse for overclocking.

What do you guys think of Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1? As it seems to be the perfect size for me and future upgrades. Link to case on amazon.

In my country for some reason it's cheaper, just 42$. Would the airflow be any good?

The old masterbox was the one with good airflow, the lite is no good

If we're talking german prices:

This one is better than its Q500L counterpart which had some pretty bad airflow. I think the looks are also pretty awesome. Optional carrying handle is convenient.

Bad case it has really bad airflow. Look at something like a cooler master nr400.

I9 9900K and 2070 with room for a 3090. No thermal issues. With just a 240 AIO. Will be an air cooler soon... The bios will depend on the mobo brand..... My Mobo has all the bios settings that a full size does. The only difference is DIMM and PCIE slots.

The 9900k is fairly easy to cool unless you try outrageous voltages that are simply not healthy either cool or warmer.  The 9900k like the 9700k and 10900k and 10700k and 8700k is a great gaming CPU for 2k gaming and as for 1080p CPU taxing their about the same but of course there is like 10fps difference here and there.  I think the sweet spot at 2k resolution with AA added is what gamers can expect even wtih a 3090 as AAA titles at 60fps just will be laggy and not competitive grade level.

If you really want to go budget I'd try something by Rosewill 35-60USD (please don't).

I really like this Corsair 275 Airflow: the white one is sleek and cooling is adequate for 80USD.

Personally I wouldn't go under 80USD for a case unless you want to add more fans.

Well, if I had the money I would go over 80USD, but in Latvia, that ain't gonna happen sadly.

Thanks for suggesting the corsair case, maybe I will save up and buy that, as it seems to be a not so bad option after all.

I will still look at other options, as I have found 2 cases myself which I like under 60.
