The motherboard doesn't control the RAM, the CPU does. That CPU is what this RAM is specifically designed for, and the motherboard is perfectly capable of running it.

 

Also, it is within spec on your motherboard's specs page. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/EX-A320M-GAMING/specifications/

Yow, guys Im back, I didnt yet bought ram, but quick question... what If I ran 4gb at A1 slot and 4gb as well at B1.... and I will run 8gb of ram in A2 and another 8gb of ram on B2.. do I still get dual channel? @BTGbullseye  @cr8tor currently in mind is I will buy 4x4gb and settle with 16gb but if 4x2gb and 8x2gb method work for dual channel then I would go for that

I think the only way you will know for sure is to test it and try.

Its more likely not going to work to be honest.

Its not supposed to work that way, and there are more than one reason why it shouldnt work.

But, sometimes things work even if its not technically advertised and/or supposed to.

 

If you dont want to risk spending the extra, just dont spend the extra.

It is a risk, and you will only know for sure when you try it.

But know there is more reasons for it not to work that for it to work.

Hmmm... yeah maybe I'll stick to 4x4gb cuz I wouldn't like to risk money and performance cuz I got financial problems as well, Im about to order now 2x4gb 2400mhz thanks for the advice @cr8tor

No, mixing sizes of any sort will not work. All slots have to have the same size, same rank, and same timings. If any of that is different, you will not get dual channel.

So... this is what I did I bought the same ram 4x4gb same speed same size same timing, Im just gonna stick with 16gb of ram, 16gb is enough to run after effects, thanks for the help @cr8tor @BTGbullseye

I am currently typing from mixed brand/speed/capacity/timings. works fine on zen+, but speed and timings are way below spec to keep stable.  Mixed 3200 and 3600 and max that I could get was 2133, reports dual channel though and I have had nearly all 96gb in use before.  All modules are dual rank, never tried mixing single and dual rank.  Have modules to fix mismatch for 4*32 3600, just haven't swapped yet.

Thats probably the safest choice for you, and 16gb really is a good amount. But it is always subjective to each persons needs.
You are more then welcome for the assistance.
