Where should i start with this?

I was recommended to overclock my ram by someone on this forum, he told me what programs to use and i just dont know where to start.

I have a ryzen 5 3600x on an asus b450-f board with a 2x8 kit of gskill aegis 2400.

 

I dont know what values to put where. I would also be interested in overclocking my cpu to get more performance out of that as it and my ram both sit at about 80% utilization in games

Check your BIOS of your mobo, XMP may be an option there. Use that instead.

Warning, OCing your RAM is kinda pointless for general purpose tasks, gaming might get you a few more FPS however

im trying to oc for better performance in warzone. i believe the slow ram to be my bottleneck. i believe i have xmp already enabled.

Like I said. It's not worth the effort. Just run it the way it is.

Unless you're willing to spend hours to get what likely won't be a perceivable difference.
