Low FPS in GTA V? 3rd Gen Ryzen

I've got a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1070, noticed im getting on average around 50 FPS at very high settings.

Benchmarks on YouTube have double this frame rate.

Thoughts?

Are you matching their graphics settings 100%?

What is your Draw Distance / Population Density / Population Variety set to?

FXAA / MSAA / TXAA settings on / off ?

VSync on / off ?

V Sync off, all settings the same as the video including draw distance. And their GPU is weaker than mine.....

Do you have the same problem in other games or just GTA 5? Also gonna suggest the usual obvious stuff like check your thermals and drivers.

Keep in mind that GTA Online will perform significantly worse than Story Mode. Lowering MSAA, Post-FX, and Grass Quality will have the highest impact on your framerate.

I GET OVER 100 FPS on Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider maxed.

GTA is an unoptimized console port, you can't realistically expect the game to run as well as Witcher.

If I can't hit a stable 100FPS without lowering settings with a 3900x + 1070 Ti, I'm sure your 3600 + 1070 will encounter the same fate.

But it is optimised though? I see people with Rytzen 2600 and 1660 Ti get over 100 FPS.

Without screen shots of your Game settings and Gpu frequency during game, it's impossible to help. We can't See anything you're talking about. The only diag I've seen is I have X FPS lol.

In short, SS pics say a 1000 words.

Thank you.

These taken in a series, the first screen shot looks really good, the last 3 do not. Settings look good. Temps look really decent tool. (just observing).

On a hunch, try Memory at 3200mhz opposed to 3600.
