I'm looking for a ROM to install in my samsung Galaxy Ace GT-s5830i

So i've somehow got my hands on this samsung galaxy ace gt-s5830i. And i want to make it just a little bit "functional". It's undoubtedly outdated and is stuck in android 2.3.6 gingerbread and i'm looking for a custom ROM to install. Can anyone help me?

Outdated is understatement. Thats ancient in smartphone standards. Miracle if its still working.

Sadly, I don't think you have any good options, not even with custom ROMs. The chipset/CPU is too old to be supported by modern versions of Android. So only possible option would be to try and find older versions of CynogenMOD or maybe LineageOS etc.

Just leave it be. I have the ace 2 and that phone became unusable even with custom roms ages ago and that thing has over twice the power of the original ace. Even as a remote my ace 2 is too slow. I even struggles to stream spotify. So just let this phone rest it's not gonna be able to do anything.

It has an ARM11 (ARMv6) CPU so it can't run any modern apps even if you installed newer ROM for it.

I had a ARMv6 phone (ZTE Blade) in 2012-2013 and even back then many apps and especially higher end games already required ARMv7 CPU. In 2013 I installed CyanogenMod 10.1 on it and there wasn't really any more apps available than for Android 2.2

I'll just leave this here

Leaving this thread. Good luck

Awareness is key. Never enough, even in the face of futility. Speak the truth as if you may never get to say it again. This world is full of ugly. Change it they say. The only way is to reveal the ugly. To change the truth you must first acknowledge it. Never pretend it isn't there. Never bend the knee.

Please quote my post in your reply, so that I will be notified and can respond to it. Thanks.
