Video out from phone to external monitor

Hi, is it possible to display out / video out from phone to monitor / tv / whatever. i mean video out with a cable ofc not through wifi.

 

My phones are still on usb micro b.

Moto g6 play and/or huawei p10 lite

Only if it supports MHL (<-- link).
Else i do not think there is any display output unless you manage to get some sort of remote connection/desktop working, so it shares the screen.

 

Edit: you maybe want to google to see if following things work on your phone; Teamviewer, VNC, remote desktop, screen sharing.

Extremely unlikely you will be able to do so.

On microB phones only if they support MHL as mentioned which is limited to a handful. 

 

Higher end USB-C phones often support DP alt mode so will work to output video with the same dongles you'd use for a laptop.

AFAIK the quality is somewhat subpar since it's not a real display output.

@Kilrahthis is dumb question but can you use a tablet as a secondary monitor? connected to my pc

Not as a native display, but there are some apps that allow displaying stuff on through WiFi.
