What is it with linus still using Note 9 in 2020

Why in the world does linus聽still tends to use the Galaxy Note 9 when u have ludicrously specced phone known as the galaxy Note 20 out there 馃馃馃??

Because the Note 20 is expensive and a downgrade in some aspects. If he likes his Note 9, why upgrade?

Why upgrade a phone every year if it still works and you like it

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am聽always glad to help

The Note 9 has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which Linus in the past has mentioned as a plus.

I would also guess it's a bit of a "don't replace what isn't broken"

"We're all in this together, might as well be friends" Tom, Toonami.

Sorry if my post seemed rude, that is never my intention.

He's using a second-gen Galaxy Fold right now, afaik. I dunno if he switched back.

My brother's using a S9 (after a trade-off from his friend with his recently-bought聽Poco F1 years ago, how lucky is he)聽and it's stil the fastest dang聽phone on our whole family that mostly using budget-priced Xiaomis. (he's basically saved long enough to get that phone)

As like others said, some people bought phones for their long-term reliability and performance, not catching every-year-flagships because he can. And the most important one?

I think even in one of the latest videos he was still rocking the Fold 2 (with the epic skin) but that's not really a great indication because we聽 don't know exactly when that was shot. For me personally the last 2 generations of Samsung phones have been complete聽 disappointments and I'm 100% on board with rocking the Note 9. Unfortunately his seems to be quite battered so if I had to guess he's either going to change it soon or do a repair video and talk about how he still doesn't see a worthy upgrade. (BTW there's 0.0001% chance Linus sees this but if he does.. psst Linus, the LG V60 is a worthy upgrade)

Ampere is worse than Fermi, change my mind.
