The CPU won't work in that socket...

This is gonna be a pretty powerful PC for a first build :D
i would wait for ryzen 5000 though. Those new chips might blow Intels i9 out of the water in performance and price. Not to mentions that motherboards are way cheaper for AMD

Amd or Intel prefered?
What size are u looking for?

4,5k with or without peripherals (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse etc.)

Experienced User (more Expensive Board for OC) or going with Stock OC settings?

Prefered Colour? Style? Air Cooling or AIO or even custom loop?

Give us some more info ;)

If your not in a hurry i would wait for the new Ryzen series (or atleast more realistiv benchmarks) and maybe for the Big Navi GPUs

Example build with Intel:

There are many variables. With that budget you could easily go with a i9 oder Ryzen chip with more cores, but you wouldnt feel any difference when "only" gaming.

? Its a great unit. Though for a 3090, maybe a higher wattage would be nice.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

RM is sorta worse than the older RMx, while its also costing 155$ when there are cheaper, better options. its not bad. its just "eh" for the money.
