Looks good! I can't believe you have 3600Mhz 16gb ram for that price. That's like €78 where I live. I thought that stuff was much more expensive...

Thank You! Would you say the r5 3600 will be fine with the stock cooler?

I think so. If I'm not mistaken amd cpu's are generally cooler than intel cpu's. Something with less powerdraw equals less heat or something. But someone more qualified should answer that for you

It's a terrible time to buy a 2070. Card's now 2 generations behind, 5700xt is faster and cheaper, 2070 super is $25 aud more (although blower cooler)

The 3070 is out in literally a week, and the AMD event is a day before. Can it not wait a week?

that's true, waiting for the 3070 might be a better idea. I'm doing that as well. Going to replace my 1070 with it

The only issue is that the 3070 is also A lot more expensive

700 AUD, IIRC. Even at 750 you should be able to get one. And the new AMD GPU will probably undercut the 3070 for $400, exactly like the RX 5700xt did. Again, wait a week.

a couple hundred more in australian dollars I assume? Well, see it as an investment too. The card is quite a lot better than the 2070 and will probably mean you won't need to upgrade your gpu for a few years longer
