first i used Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4 DRAM 16GB (8GBx2) CL16 BL2K8G36C16U4R and the pc would freeze even on default speed, i even clocked down from 2666 default to 2133 and it still freezes

then used my old rams HyperX FURY Black 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 2133MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL14 DIMM Desktop Memory (HX421C14FBK2/16) worked without freezing on default speed (2133)

tried newer rams: Corsair CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 1.35V for AMD Ryzen freeze on default speed (2666)

Can someone help me figure this out?

Bios is updated, The Freeze start with a sound cut only, less than a minute later everything else freezes, it happens gaming or just browsing, it freezes more often when gaming

what are possible causes for this?

Thanks

Sounds like your CPU cant handle the Speed for some Reason. Although 3600 the optimal speed is.

If you just bought it, RMA it and tést a new one. I doubt its the Mainboard.

but why would it also freeze after downcloaking to 2133 with the the ballistic ram? is there any method i can verify that?

Have you terminate any other freeze reasons? Like temps ect.?

Did you test each DIMM one by one, slot by slot?
