Screen goes black and 100% fan speed

Spec:

Ryzen 5 3600

Vega 56 gigabyte reference

Corsair CV650

This only occurs while playing games or heaven benchmark. After I replaced thermal paste it does that consistently after about 10 minutes. It used happen before but not as frequently. It's not a thermal issue. I can run furmark at 73-75C without it happening.

that psu with very power hungy card can be the problem. CV650 is not bad but it is bad for Vega or RTX 3000 series since thay use a lot of power and have power spikes.

Im sure you know but thats your PC crashing, if you say its after you replaced the thermal paste then its probably doesnt have good enought thermal contact, did you also replacce the CPU thermal paste, because then it would explain wh furmark is running fine.

what is happening is that the CPU isnt cooled properly so it starts to thermal thruttle, but then after thrutteling its still to hot so it thruttles again then its still to hot so it freaks out and shut it self down while ramping fans up to 100% on everything to cool everything because its warried about the rest of the systems thermals
